GLOBAL KOREAN NURSING FOUNDATION
GKNF Introduction
The Kim Mo-im Academic Forum was originally a small group meeting started in November of 2011 by advisor Kim Mo-im, former Minister of Health and Welfare, with the goal of freely expressing opinions and discussing the creative future and direction and vision of nursing for the sake of caring for younger students and continuous development of the nursing field. It was then the participant-run meetings began.
In order to conduct meetings more regularly and systematically, Yonsei University’s College of Nursing and GKNF have been holding joint Kim Mo-im Forums 4 to 5 times a year since 2016, with funds donated by advisor Kim Mo-im.
Purpose
The goal of the form is mainly to present various perspectives for fostering global leadership in the nursing community and clinical development. Experts from each field are invited to hold meetings on various topics in the forum.
