GKNF Introduction
Global Leadership Program(GLP)
GKNF is promoting the Global Leadership Program(GLP) to foster professional talent in the fields of global health and global development cooperation (ODA).
GLP is a program that not only provides nursing students interested in global health with opportunities for personal growth to cultivate and practice global health, but also develop leadership capabilities for Korean nurses to grow in the global community. As prospective medical professionals, this program is implemented to grow understanding of global health and global health standards.
Purpose
Cultivate global leadership of nursing students and improve global citizenship.
Improve overall understanding of global health and global development cooperation.
Identify health problems of individuals, families, and communities in developing countries.
Experience in various nursing practices to improve health standards.
Improve understanding and inclusion of social, cultural, and systemic diversity surrounding health.
Goals
Can understand and explain global development cooperation and ODA concepts.
Able to plan and implement health education that accounts for social and cultural diversity.
Recognizing the importance of global leadership and striving to improve our capabilities.
